1. The code has expired
The most common cause. Many coupons last only a few days. On CouponX we rank every code by freshness and likelihood to work, so you reach the still-active codes first.
2. You didn't meet the minimum spend
Many codes require a minimum order (e.g. "over $50"). Check the coupon terms — you may be just a few dollars short of unlocking the discount.
3. The code is for new customers only
First-order or new-customer codes won't apply to an existing account. If you've bought there before, look for a general code instead.
4. Your item isn't included
Some codes exclude certain brands, already-discounted items or whole categories. Try the code on another item, or find a category-specific coupon — for fashion or electronics, for example.
5. A typo or extra spaces
Manual typing often adds a space at the start or end. Always copy-paste the exact code, with no spaces, and mind upper/lower case.
6. The code is single-use or already redeemed
Personal codes are limited to one use. If you've already used it, or it was issued to another user, it won't work again — look for an up-to-date public code.
7. Wrong region or currency
Some codes are valid only in a specific country or currency. Buying abroad — say on AliExpress or Geekbuying — make sure the code is meant for international orders.
What if no code works?

How do I know if a coupon code worked?
It worked only if the order total drops after you enter it. If the price didn't change, the code wasn't applied — even without an error message.
Can I stack two codes on one order?
